Download and Install: Download the ZArchiver app from the Google Play Store for Android. Install the app on your smartphone or tablet and open it to begin managing your files. Navigate to Files: Use the app’s file browser to navigate to the location of the files you want to compress or the archive you want to extract. ZArchiver allows you to browse your device's storage and external SD cards. Create an Archive: To create a new archive, select the files or folders you want to compress by tapping and holding them. Then, choose the “Compress” option from the menu. Select your desired archive format (e.g., ZIP, 7z, TAR) and configure any additional settings, such as compression level or password protection. Tap "OK" to create the archive. Extract an Archive: To extract files from an archive, navigate to the archive file and tap on it. Manage Archive Content: ZArchiver allows you to add files to existing archives, delete files from archives, or rename files within an archive. Simply open the archive and use the menu options to manage its contents. Password-Protect Archives: If you want to secure your archive, you can set a password during the creation process. ZArchiver supports encrypted archives, ensuring that your sensitive data is protected from unauthorized access. Preview Files: ZArchiver enables you to preview files directly within the app without extracting them. This feature is especially useful when you need to quickly check the contents of an archive before deciding whether to extract it. Multithreading for Speed: For large files or archives, ZArchiver uses multithreading to speed up the compression and extraction process. You can enable or disable this feature in the app’s settings based on your device's performance. File Management: Beyond archiving, ZArchiver also functions as a basic file manager. You can move, copy, rename, or delete files and folders on your device directly within the app. Stay Updated: Regularly update the ZArchiver app to access new features, support for additional formats, and performance improvements.
