Getting Started
Download and Install the App:
Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for “NatWest Mobile Banking.”
Download and install the app on your mobile device.
Log In or Register:
If you are an existing customer, log in using your Online Banking credentials (Personal ID and password).
New users can register directly through the app by following the on-screen instructions to set up a Personal ID, password, and security details.
Set Up Security Features:
Enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for enhanced security.
You can also set up biometric authentication (Face ID or Fingerprint) for faster, secure access.
Navigating the App
Home Screen Overview:
The home screen provides a quick snapshot of your account balances, recent transactions, and any pending payments. From here, you can navigate to various features like payments, account management, and budgeting tools.
View Account Balances and Transactions:
Tap on any account to view detailed transaction histories and current balances.
Use the search function to find specific transactions or filter them by date or category.
Manage Multiple Accounts:
Link your other bank accounts to view all your finances in one place.
Switch between accounts easily by selecting them from the accounts menu.
Making Payments
Send Money:
Tap on “Payments” from the home screen.
Select a payee from your favorites list or add a new payee by entering their details.
Enter the amount, review the details, and confirm the payment.
Split Bills:
Use the “Split Bill” feature to share a payment request link with multiple people.
Enter the total amount and select the contacts to split it with. Each person will receive a request to pay their share.
Schedule and Manage Payments:
Set up future payments or standing orders by choosing the date and frequency.
View, edit, or cancel scheduled payments through the “Manage Payments” section.
Managing Your Cards
Freeze and Unfreeze Cards:
If you lose your card or suspect fraudulent activity, you can freeze your credit or debit card instantly by selecting the “Card Management” option.
Unfreeze the card once it’s recovered or when you’re sure there’s no threat.
Set Up a Travel Plan:
Register a travel plan for your debit cards when traveling abroad. This helps avoid your card being flagged for unusual activity.
Go to “Card Management” and select “Travel Plan” to add your travel dates and destinations.
Saving and Budgeting
Set Up Savings Goals:
Use the “Round Up” feature to save spare change automatically. Choose between single or double round-ups for each transaction.
Create specific savings goals and track your progress within the app.
Track Spending:
Categorize your expenses to see where your money is going each month.
Set monthly budgets for different categories and receive alerts when you approach or exceed your limits.
Additional Features
Apply for Accounts or Services:
Open new accounts, such as Premier or Student accounts, directly from the app.

Get Cash:
Use the “Get Cash” feature to withdraw money without your debit card. You’ll receive a unique code to withdraw up to £130 from any NatWest ATM.

Opt in to track your credit score provided by TransUnion. Access your credit report and receive tips on how to improve your score.

Access “Settings” to update your security options, including biometric login and MFA.
