HOW TO PLAY:
For New and Existing Users:
Download the SouthState Mobile App:
Start by downloading the SouthState Mobile app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Create an Account or Log In:
If you're a new user, you’ll need to create an account by entering your personal information, including your name, address, and Social Security number to verify your identity.
If you're an existing SouthState Bank customer, simply log in using your username and password.
Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
For added security, the app may prompt you to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA), such as text messages or email verification, to protect your account from unauthorized access.
View Your Account Balances:
Once logged in, you can easily check the balances of all your SouthState Bank accounts (checking, savings, credit cards, loans, etc.).
The app will show an overview of your accounts, including available balances, recent transactions, and pending deposits.
Transfer Funds Between Accounts:
SouthState Mobile allows you to easily transfer money between your accounts, such as from checking to savings or to pay off loans.
Simply select the Transfer Funds option, enter the amount, and choose the accounts you wish to transfer funds between.
Deposit Checks Using Mobile Deposit:
The app offers mobile check deposit. To deposit a check, select the Deposit Checks option, capture an image of the front and back of the check, and follow the prompts to complete the deposit.
Make sure the check is endorsed properly before submitting it for deposit.
Pay Bills:
With the bill pay feature, you can pay bills directly from the app. You can set up recurring payments for utilities, credit card bills, and other regular expenses.
To pay a bill, simply select the Bill Pay option, add the payee, and enter the payment details.
Send Money with Zelle:
SouthState Mobile integrates with Zelle, allowing you to send money instantly to anyone with a U.S. bank account. To send money, simply enter the recipient’s email or phone number, enter the amount, and confirm the transfer.
Zelle transfers are usually completed within minutes, making it a fast and easy way to send or receive money.
View Recent Transactions:
You can easily access your recent transaction history, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
Use the search function to filter transactions by date or type, helping you quickly find what you're looking for.
Locate Branches and ATMs:
SouthState Mobile allows you to find nearby branches and ATMs by using your current location.
The app shows you the nearest locations, including branch hours, ATM fees, and whether the ATM accepts deposits.
Manage Account Settings:
You can manage your account preferences directly from the app. Set up alerts for low balances, large transactions, or bill due dates.
You can also update personal details, such as contact information and notification settings.
Secure Your Account:
The app includes robust security features such as fingerprint or face recognition login, ensuring that only you have access to your account.
If you lose your phone or suspect fraud, you can quickly freeze your account or contact customer support.
Access Customer Support:
If you have any questions or need assistance, the SouthState Mobile app provides easy access to customer support. You can contact customer service directly via phone or chat within the app.
Track Your Credit Score:
Some versions of SouthState Mobile also allow you to access credit score monitoring tools to track your financial health.
You can view your credit score, understand key factors affecting it, and get tips on improving your credit.
Log Out and Close the App:
For security reasons, always remember to log out of your account when you’re done using the app, especially if you’re using a shared device.
SouthState Mobile also offers an automatic logout feature after a period of inactivity.
