Welcome to the NetBenefits app by Fidelity! This guide will help you navigate the app and take full advantage of its features to manage your workplace benefits, including retirement savings, health insurance, stock options, and more.
Getting Started
Download and Install: Download the NetBenefits app from your device’s app store.
Sign In or Register:
If you’re new to Fidelity, create an account by providing your personal information and setting up a secure password.
If you already have a Fidelity account, sign in using your existing username and password.
Dashboard Overview
Home Screen:
The home screen provides an overview of your workplace benefits, including your retirement accounts, HSA, health insurance, and more.
Navigate through different sections using the menu at the bottom of the screen.
Customize Your View:
Personalize your dashboard by selecting your preferred benefits to display, allowing you to focus on the most important information.
Managing Retirement Savings
View Retirement Accounts:
Tap on "Retirement" to view your 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement accounts. You can see your account balances, recent contributions, and investment performance.
Change Contribution Rates:
To adjust your contribution rates, tap on "Manage Contributions." Select the account you want to modify, enter the new contribution rate, and confirm the change.
Update Investments:
Access the "Investments" section to review your current investment choices. You can reallocate your investments or select new options based on your financial goals.
Managing Health Savings Account (HSA)
View HSA Details:
Tap on "HSA" to view your account balance, recent transactions, and investment performance.
Manage HSA Investments:
If you have invested your HSA funds, you can manage these investments directly through the app, just like your retirement accounts.
Track HSA Expenses:
Keep track of your medical expenses by viewing transaction history and categorizing expenses for easy management.
Health Insurance Information
Access Health Insurance Details:
Tap on "Health Insurance" to see information about your coverage, including who is covered, provider contact details, and your group number.
Enroll in Health Insurance:
During annual enrollment periods, use the app to review and select your health insurance options for the upcoming year.
Stock Options and Grants
Manage Stock Plans:
If you have stock options or grants, tap on "Stock Plans" to exercise your options, accept grants, and view your current holdings.
Track Stock Performance:
Monitor the performance of your stock options and grants to make informed decisions about exercising options or selling shares.
Document Management
Upload Documents:
Use the app’s camera feature to send documents or rollover checks securely to Fidelity. Tap on "Documents" and follow the instructions to upload.
View and Download Documents:
Access important documents related to your accounts, such as statements and tax forms, in the "Documents" section.
Educational Resources
Access Learning Tools:
Tap on "Learning" to explore a variety of articles, videos, podcasts, and interactive tools designed to help you make informed financial decisions.
Use Planning Tools:
Tools like the Fidelity Retirement Score can help you assess your readiness for retirement and take steps to improve your financial wellness.
Security Features
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):
For enhanced security, enable 2FA in the app’s settings. This adds an extra layer of protection to your account by requiring a verification code during login.
Biometric Login:
Set up biometric login (fingerprint or face recognition) for quick and secure access to your account.

Access Support:
If you need assistance, tap on "Support" in the app to access FAQs, contact customer service, or submit a help request.
Provide Feedback:
Share your experience with the app by tapping "Feedback" in the settings menu. Your input helps Fidelity improve the app.
Logging Out
To log out, tap on your profile icon or the settings menu, and select Log Out. Always log out after each session to ensure your account remains secure.
