HOW TO PLAY:
Each game takes about 10 minutes to play and despite the simplified controls and mechanics, the game does not lose any of the complexity of a MOBA game. You will need to work well with your teammates and come up with tactics to defeat the enemy.
1. Check hero rotation
One of the most important things that will help you in any MOBA game is to make yourself familiar with multiple heroes. Of course, playing with your favorite heroes can help you get more kills, but that won't necessarily win more fights. Since there are different characters in the game, you need to be able to adapt to the team composition. You can't just stubbornly choose who you want and expect your team to win. Remember, the battle starts at the hero selection screen.
With this in mind, it is a good idea to try to master different types of heroes. This can be challenging at first, as you won't be able to use all the heroes. The game offers you a few heroes for free, but after that, you will have to buy any other heroes you want to use. The good news is that you can try out different heroes for a week. The game temporarily unlocks several heroes for a week. The roster changes once a week, so be sure to check the rotation regularly. This is a great way to expand your hero knowledge and even test drive heroes before you decide to buy them.
2. Choose the right heroes
The battle begins during the hero selection process. If you don't choose the right champion for the job, you could be putting your entire team at a disadvantage. When you are still in the beginning stages, it may be difficult to decide who to go for. We've listed below some solid heroes that can help you make that all-important decision.
3. Master the map
It is important for any player to know every corner and crevice of the map. You will not have time to keep checking the map just to see the line of travel. Studying the map carefully will help you walk quickly and anticipate enemy movement. Check out the main areas of the map below to get a better idea of where you are going.
4. Work with your teammates
Always remember that you are playing a team game. No matter what your level of play, you can't continue to win without your teammates. Know your role and learn to adapt to the other members of your team. Consider picking up a tank if your lineup is already full to the brim. Always communicate with them and never lose your cool. If you start arguing in the middle of a fight, things will only get worse.
5. Don't forget it's a tower pushing game
A common mistake among new players is to assume that the game is all about killing the enemy. They continue to hunt and kill, ignoring lanes. No matter how many kills you get, your team won't win if you don't advance on the enemy base. Simply direct the minions towards the lanes and let them take hits as they attack the turrets. Once all the turrets in the lane are gone, you can proceed to tear up the enemy base. Despite the fact that some teams are at a disadvantage, they can turn the tide if they advance hard enough. Learn to prioritize your priority objectives and you should see an increase in win rates.
6. Kill some jungle monsters
At the beginning of the game, before you enter your respective lane, try to pick up a few monster kills in the jungle. Simply ask your tank or support crew to help you kill a jungle camp in order to gain a level advantage immediately upon reaching the lane. If played correctly, you may even be able to secure first blood when the enemy arrives. Of course, if you are the tank or support crew, you should forgo the jungle monsters to carry with you. Again, it's all about teamwork.
7. Don't give up on heroes
Some heroes have a higher learning curve than others. You may need more games to figure out how to use them. Just because you end a game with 20 deaths doesn't mean you should stop using the hero. As we mentioned earlier, there is a weekly hero rotation. Choose one or two new heroes from that rotation and use them throughout the week until you master them. Heroes like Franco will stop new players. You will need to make many attempts to consistently fall into Franco's hook. Once you have mastered this skill, you can become one of the most hated heroes.
8. Open those chests
As long as you are an active player, the game will give you free freebies. When you log in, you will receive two free chests. These chests are refilled every four hours, so if you sign in later, you will receive more rewards. Rewards include experience, battle points, hero tickets, badges and magic dust. Make sure to take advantage of as many free chests as you can, as they can do a lot for you.
In addition to the free crates, you can also get medal crates which can provide even more rewards. However, these require some work. You need to play some games to open the medal boxes. Two wins are enough to earn a victory. The rewards for medal boxes include premium skin pieces. This is a great way to get hero skins without spending real money.
