HOW TO PLAY:
Sign Up and Set Up a Workspace
Go to the Miro website, sign up for an account, and set up a workspace. You can invite team members to join your workspace by email.
Create a New Board
Click on “New Board” to start a fresh workspace. Choose from blank or template-based boards, with templates available for various purposes like brainstorming, kanban, and customer journey mapping.
Add and Arrange Elements
Use the toolbar on the left to add elements such as sticky notes, shapes, text, images, and lines. Drag and drop items to arrange them visually, creating diagrams, flowcharts, or notes as needed.
Use Pre-made Templates
Access Miro’s extensive template library to jump-start your work. Select templates that fit your project type, such as mind maps, kanban boards, or retrospective templates.
Collaborate in Real-Time
Invite team members to your board by sharing a link. Use real-time collaboration tools like video chat, comments, and reactions to work together on the board. Multiple users can edit, view, and comment simultaneously.
Enable Voting Sessions
Use the “Voting” feature for team decisions or prioritizing ideas. Set up a voting session by specifying criteria and allowing team members to vote on elements within the board.
Present Ideas with Presentation Mode
Switch to presentation mode to showcase your board in a structured way. This mode hides editing tools and guides viewers through your content step-by-step.
Integrate with Other Tools
Connect Miro with tools like Slack, Jira, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams to streamline workflow and share updates. Integration settings are available in the app’s “Settings” menu.
Organize Boards and Projects
Use folders and tags to organize boards by project or team, making it easier to locate specific workspaces. You can also set permissions to control access to boards.
Access Miro on Multiple Devices
Download Miro’s desktop app or mobile app to access boards across devices, ensuring team members can collaborate on the go or during remote meetings.
