1. Download and open the app, then set your region and dietary preferences such as insect free, vegan, halal, kosher, or specific allergies. 2. Allow camera access and choose Scan Barcode for packaged foods or Scan Label to capture an ingredient list. 3. Point your camera at the barcode or text; the app will recognize and analyze ingredients against its database. 4. Review the result page for a clear risk status, detected insect derived substances, E numbers, and plain language explanations. 5. Save or favorite products, create a watchlist, and enable notifications for alerts and safer alternatives; use Search to manually look up additives or download offline data for travel.
