1. Getting Started
Download and Install: Start by downloading the HealthEquity Mobile app from your preferred app store.
Sign Up or Activate Your Account: If you’re a new member, you can sign up or activate your account directly through the app. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup.
2. Accessing Your Accounts
View Account Balances: Once logged in, you can view all your account balances on the home screen. This includes your Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), and any other health-related accounts.
Transaction History: Tap on any account to see your transaction history and get detailed information on your past activities.
3. Managing Documentation
Upload Documentation: To submit claims or manage payments, you can upload documentation directly from your device. Take a photo with your phone’s camera, upload images from your gallery, or add PDFs stored on your device.
Link Documentation to Claims: Once your documentation is uploaded, link it to the relevant claims to ensure everything is properly tracked and organized.
4. Sending Payments and Reimbursements
Pay Providers: Use the app to send payments directly to healthcare providers. Simply select the provider, enter the payment amount, and confirm the transaction.
Reimburse Yourself: If you’ve paid out-of-pocket for a healthcare expense, you can reimburse yourself by transferring funds from your health account to your personal bank account.
5. Managing Debit Cards
Link Transactions to Claims: When using your HealthEquity debit card, you can link the transactions to specific claims for easier tracking.
Order and Activate Cards: Need a new debit card? Order, activate, or replace cards for yourself and your dependents directly through the app.
