Welcome to the Fifth Third Mobile Banking App! This guide will help you navigate the app’s features so you can manage your finances securely and efficiently from your mobile device. Follow these steps to get started and make the most of your mobile banking experience.
Getting Started
Download the App:
Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and search for “Fifth Third Mobile Banking.”
Tap “Install” to download and install the app on your device.
Sign In or Enroll:
Open the app and sign in using your Fifth Third Online Banking username and password.
If you’re a first-time user, tap “Enroll” on the login page and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account.
Navigating the App
Home Screen:
After signing in, you’ll be taken to the home screen where you can view your account balances, recent transactions, and quick access to key features like transfers and bill payments.
Account Overview:
Tap on any account to view detailed information, including transaction history, available balance, and pending transactions.
Key Features
Deposit Checks:
Tap “Deposit” from the home screen to deposit checks using your mobile device.
Follow the instructions to take clear photos of the front and back of your check.
Submit the deposit before 8 PM ET for same-day processing. If you need immediate access to the funds, use the Mobile Deposit with Immediate Funds option.
Transfer Money:
Tap “Transfer” to move money between your Fifth Third accounts.
Choose the accounts to transfer from and to, enter the amount, and confirm the transfer. Note that transfers from a credit card may be treated as a cash advance.
Pay Bills:
Tap “Pay Bills” to manage your bill payments.
Add new payees directly from the app, schedule one-time or recurring payments, and view payment history.
Send Money with Zelle®:
Tap “Send Money with Zelle®” to send money to friends or family.
Enter the recipient’s email address or mobile phone number, select the amount, and confirm the payment. Money is typically available within minutes.
Set Up Alerts:
Tap “Alerts” in the menu to manage your notifications.
Set up alerts for debit, credit, and ATM transactions, low balances, or other account activity. Customize how you receive alerts, whether by phone or email.
Manage Account Information:
Access “Profile” from the menu to update your personal information, change your user ID, or update your security settings.
Activate or deactivate cards, change your card PINs, and opt for electronic statement delivery all within the app.
Find Branches & ATMs:
Tap “Locations” to find nearby Fifth Third branches and ATMs.
View branch hours, get directions, or call the branch directly from the app.
Security Features
Secure Login: Use your username and password to securely log in, with the option to enable biometric login (fingerprint or facial recognition) for added convenience.
Instant Alerts: Receive real-time alerts for transactions to help monitor your account activity and take immediate action if needed.
Encryption: All your financial information is encrypted within the app to prevent unauthorized access and ensure your privacy.
Troubleshooting and Support
App Issues: If the app isn’t working correctly, try closing and reopening it or restarting your device. Make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

Additional Information
Mobile Deposits: Be aware that some account types, like Access 360 and Basic Checking, are not eligible for mobile deposits. Terms and conditions apply to the Mobile Deposit with Immediate Funds feature.
Zelle® Transfers: If your recipient is not yet enrolled with Zelle®, their transfer may take between 1 and 3 business days after they enroll.
