Download and Install: Download Caller ID Name & Location from the Google Play Store for Android or the App Store for iPhone. Install the app and open it to start identifying calls. Grant Permissions: When you first open the app, it will ask for permissions to access your phone’s call logs, contacts, and location. These permissions are necessary for the app to function properly. Identify Incoming Calls: When you receive an incoming call, Caller ID Name & Location will display the caller's name, phone number, and location (if available). This information helps you decide whether to answer or ignore the call. Call Blocking: Block Spam Calls: Use the app to block unwanted or spam calls. You can create a blacklist to automatically block numbers from specific contacts, telemarketers, or robocalls. Auto Call Blocker: Enable the auto-block feature to prevent calls from unknown or suspicious numbers from reaching you. Reverse Phone Lookup: Search by Number: Enter a phone number into the search bar to perform a reverse lookup. The app will provide information about the owner of the number, including their name, location, and other available details. Call History Tracking: View Call Logs: Track all incoming, outgoing, and missed calls in the app’s call history section. This feature lets you see the details of each call, including the caller’s ID and location. Customize Caller ID Settings: Customize Notifications: Adjust notification settings to receive alerts only for specific types of calls (e.g., unknown numbers or blocked numbers). Location Display: Enable or disable the location feature based on your preferences. Offline Functionality: Some versions of Caller ID Name & Location may offer offline functionality, allowing you to identify calls even without an active internet connection. This can be useful in areas with limited connectivity.
